Global Gardens was founded in 1998 in Los Alamos, California, surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of Santa Barbara County's wine country. The idea for Global Gardens came about as the result of traveling around this bountiful planet, tasting the best sustainable foods available, savoring the colors and flavors of exotic lands, harkening back to a simpler lifestyle.

We want to bring those Global tastes, textures, and experiences to people who appreciate the special qualities of life and spirit, appreciate uniqueness and fine character, wanting to include exotic, organic flavors and tastes in their own homes.

At Global Gardens we use only the freshest of organic (when available), natural, pesticide-free ingredients to make our exclusive line of extra virgin olive oils, fruit vinegars, appetizer spreads, glazes, savory snacks and confections. Our olive oil is from some of the most renowned groves in the global garden we call earth and represent countless Gold Medal Winners. Most come in an exclusive imported Italian glass bottle which our customers love to recycle into daily uses in their homes.

A generous amount of our revenues annually go to support local and regional educational entities and endeavors. Imported containers for gift baskets and other store imports are fair-trade items from reliable sources. We support women’s micro-loan programs worldwide. Fundraisers for local schools are dear to our garden of generosity.
